Cambodia Casinos

There is an interesting story to the Cambodia gambling dens that sit just across the dividing line from nearby Thailand, in which casino betting is prohibited. Eight casinos are established in a relatively small area in the city of Poipet in Cambodia. This group of Cambodia casinos is in a perfect destination, a three to 4 hour drive from Bangkok and Macao, the two biggest gambling locations in Asia. Cambodia gambling halls do a thriving business with Thai blue-collar workers and visitors from Malaysia, Japan, South Korea, and Singapore, with just a couple of Westerners. The amazing capital acquired from the gambling halls ranges from seven and a half million dollars to over 12.5 million dollars, and there are a few controls requirements for casino ownership. Ownership is required to be mostly Thai; although, funding sources are cryptic. The borders are ceremoniously open from 0900 to 5:00 p.m., and though visas are apparently required to pass, there are ways around this, as is accurate of most borders.

The first Cambodia gambling halls premiered in Phnom Penh in 1994, but were forced to close in the late nineties, leaving only one gambling hall in the capital, the Naga Resort. The Naga, a moored boat gambling hall, highlights 150 slots and sixty gaming tables. The Naga casino is open all day and night with 42 tables of mini-punto banco, 4 tables of blackjack, 10 of roulette, two of Caribbean Stud Poker, and one each of Pai-Gow and Tai-Sai.

The first casino in Poipet, the Holiday Palace, premiered in the late nineties and the Golden Crown soon followed. A total of one hundred and fifty one armed bandits and five table games at the Golden Crown and one hundred and four slot machines and 68 gaming tables at the Holiday Palace. The newer Holiday Palace Casino and Resort highlights 300 one armed bandits and 70 table games and the Princess Hotel and Casino, also in Poipet, has 166 one armed bandits and 96 gaming tables, including 87 baccarat banque (the most dominant game), Fan Tan, and Pai Gow. Additionally, there is the Casino Tropicana, with one hundred and thirty five slots and 66 of the normal tables, as well as 1 table of Casino Stud Poker. An additional of the eight gambling dens in Poipet, again in a motel, is the Princess Casino with one hundred and sixty six one armed bandits and 97 table games. The Star Vegas Casino is is located in an all-inclusive resort and hotel compound that features many conveniences in addition to the gambling hall, which provides ten thousand square feet of one hundred and thirty slot machine games and 88 gaming tables.

Arizona gambling halls are anchored in the "valley of the sun," in the Southwestern section of the States. Arizona is well-known for its environment and magnificent ambiance; from the arid regions to the mountains, the landscape is as complex as it is appealing. The population of Arizona is over five million, and the capital and grandest municipality is Phoenix, with a population of over 1.4 million.
