If you enjoy a drink ever so often, leave your cash out of the casino if you are going to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Clean out your evening bag, your money belt, and keep all cash, charge cards and cheques at home. Grab only the money you anticipate to spend on alcohol, tipping and only the pocket change you expect to burn and leave the rest behind.
Cynical? Absolutely not. Just realistic. You may well have a win after a inebriated night out with your compatriots and be blessed sufficiently to hit a long roll at a smokin craps table. Hang on to that adventure because it is as short-lived as it gets if you regularly drink and gamble. The two just don’t go well together.
Leaving your cash at home is a bit drastic, but precautionary measures for excessive actions is required. If you bet to succeed, then do not drink and play. If you like to throw aside your $$$$ without a worry, then consume all the no charge booze you can handle, but do not carry charge cards and cheques to throw into the mix of going after squanderings after your dead drunk self squanders every little thing!
